Catherine Krantz

Bio:

Catherine Krantz is Area Director for Broadband at Communities Unlimited, a non-profit community development organization serving seven southern states: AL, AR, LA, MS, OK, TN, TX.

Her team of broadband technical assistance providers work in some of the least connected communities in America and are currently working with over 80 rural communities in 4 states, providing broadband planning technical assistance.

With over 20 years of experience in international business, non-profit management, community and economic development planning, she is a dedicated rural and community advocate, passionate about bringing high-speed internet to all.     

In 2022, CU hired Catherine Krantz, MPA, to lead their broadband efforts and to develop a robust broadband education and technical assistance program that would meet the high demand for broadband assistance from CU’s communities. Ms. Krantz has been a rural broadband advocate for over ten years, working as an economic development and regional services planner for Texoma Council of Governments in North Texas, and as a broadband planner in Texas and Oklahoma, before joining CU.
