Bio:

Cory Pavicich brings over 15 years of expertise in learning experience design, content strategy, and production to his role as the Director of Product Management for Professional Learning at the Society for Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE®). With a proven track record of leading transformative projects across public and private sectors, Cory is dedicated to advancing professional learning through innovative, engaging, and practical solutions.

Cory’s career is marked by significant contributions to the field of online education. He has overseen projects for top-tier companies including Google, Microsoft, Meta, IBM, and Salesforce, as well as prestigious academic institutions such as the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, the University of Virginia, and the University of Colorado Boulder. As a recognized leader in the field, he’s been an invited speaker at conferences such as the Google Innovator Academy and the Moscow eStars eLearning Conference.

Prior to joining SCTE, Cory served as the Head of Product at EIT InnoEnergy’s Skills Institute, where he led a team that delivered cutting-edge CleanTech training to over 40,000 learners across seven languages. His role at Coursera as Senior Manager of Content Production saw him managing high-profile content projects and partnerships with Fortune 50 companies, driving substantial revenue growth and operational improvements.

Cory is a Colorado native from Rye, CO, where he married to his high-school sweetheart in the largest medieval-style castle in Colorado, Bishop’s Castle. Cory and Jessica are the proud parents of three young daughters, Persephone, Cordelia, and Eleanora. As a family, they enjoy cooking, bicycling, and adventuring with their large community of friends and family.  

Cory’s academic credentials include an M.Ed. from Harvard University and a B.A. in English and Humanities from the University of Colorado Boulder.
