Bio:

Sarah V. Sullivan is a tenured networking professional with 27 years of experience in planning, implementing and maintaining telecom networks. In addition to her role as Advisor for The Broadband Council, she also serves as Managing Director of GAZED Technologies, a small business network engineering firm. 

Throughout her telecommunications career, Sarah has held both individual contributor and people leader roles at MCI, Cavalier, Intellifiber, PAETEC, Windstream and GAZED Technologies. Sarah has been the recipient of multiple engineering awards throughout her tenure such as the MCI Summit Club award and Windstream’s Network Engineering Distinguished Service Award. Sarah’s most recent career focus includes spearheading the implementation and management of an Equipment Lifecycle Management Program. This program utilizes data analytics to assess and efficiently decommission end-of-life network inventory. 

Sarah has been deeply committed to promoting innovation in both the workplace and the broader community since 2019. She has served as a member of Windstream’s Culture, Innovation and Belonging Committee, chair and board member for a women-focused Employee Resource Group (ERG) and is a member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Mentoring Committee.

Sarah earned her BS in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington and her MS in Information Systems Technology from Coastal Carolina University. Additionally, she is recognized as a published author.
