A seasoned public sector professional, Leo Garcia has served in state government
since 2008, bringing nearly two decades of experience in policy and program
leadership. Leo currently holds the role of Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Division of
Community Development at FloridaCommerce, where he helps guide strategic
initiatives that strengthen communities and support sustainable growth across Florida.
Prior to this position, he served as Director of the Office of Broadband, leading efforts to
expand connectivity and improve digital access for Florida’s unserved and underserved.
