Warren Woodward

Bio:
Warren Woodward is the Director of Broadband Services at XMission, an ISP based in
Salt Lake City, Utah, that has been in operation since 1993. For nearly 30 years,
Woodward has guided XMission’s business and residential Internet services from the
earliest days of commercial broadband to modern public and private fiber infrastructure,
while developing the company's enterprise VoIP portfolio. Under his leadership, XMission
has grown into one of the largest Open-Access Network (OAN) service providers in the
country. A longtime advocate for open access, he spearheaded XMission’s involvement
in the UTOPIA Fiber project from its inception and continues to expand partnership
networks across dozens of communities throughout the Western United States, including
directing next-generation deployments like the Atomic Fiber Initiative.
